Another kiwi guy signs up

Hi guys. I was introduced to this site by a hot rodding mate who lives not far from me , here in New Zealand.
I'm a mid 50 year old machinist/welder who lived in California for 20 years. I worked at Walt Disney Imagineering for 3 years, doing animated animals for the Parks, then vehicles for a few rides for Tokyo Disney and some special effects work . Helped a friend start a Custom car/racecar shop in Santa Clarita which is still going today, and spent 3 seasons working on another Kiwi's nitro Funny Car as a cylinder head guy. Married a Texas girl who was bar tending at my local bar, and moved her and our toys back to NZ in 2007. Have a fairly well equipped workshop and another to keep the hot rod and Corvette in. cheers !

I'll have to get Naki Kid to post some photos for me , as that's a bit out of my league , when it comes to my computer skills.
My Texan wife loves New Zealand as most of it still has that small town feel to it, as she grew up in Brownwood, about 150 miles SW of Dallas, a small "Mayberry" type place.
Just built a small waste oil burner to keep the shed warm as Winter is only a few months away , so will get some pics once I clean up! cheers . .
