After owning my Bendpak lift for 8 years, I finally improved the reservoir support. I don't know if anyone has ever damaged theirs, but after bumping into mine a few times, I did not want to be the first.
Rounded up the aluminum scraps and got this bracket MOD installed. So much better and should me a little harder to damage the reservoir from bumping into it.

HAP

Totally agree. I would pay extra if it was an available option. There is no reason to have such a potential for damage. The certification process should consider things like this a safety issue. Fluid on the floor and vehicle stuck on lift...
I should have done this long ago.

I like it!

Bend-Pak - pay attention! This should come from the factory!

My 9K Atlas has the same type of tank mounting as the Bend-Pak. It could conceivably get banged hard enough to damage it so I probably should protect it. Supporting it seems like a good idea too.

Not a big deal but I prefer the semi-clear tank so I can see the fluid level.

I just had a problem last night where the umbilical to my 4 post lift wrapped around the tank. I have to watch this because it can rip the tank off as the lift raises. (The extra tall lift has a long umbilical.)

This bracket would also prevent the umbilical from being able to sneak/pop in between the tank and the post.
