Another lurker took the plunge

Lurked for quite some time, both here and over at HAMB, so I figured I might as well take the plunge.

Built a 24x30 garage with a bonus room upstairs a few years back, last summer we built a monster deck, and before Christmas, SWMBO told me to get started on the workshop.

Ordered a steel building from Renegade Steel Buildings out of Hoschton, GA 30x60 with a 15' leanto along the 60 wall. 12' at the eaves.

Should be arriving 2/24/11, waiting until things warm up to pour the slab, maybe first week of March, so I'll have some steel waiting around.

Going to erect this myself, with help from friends and family, I hope I didnt get in over my head

I'll try to keep a build thread going, and I'll probably be looking for advice as I run into problems.

Thanks for the warm welcome. To keep the pack at bay, here is an 'artists concept' that I did up on Google Sketchup.

Sandstone and Fern colors. Overhead door on each endwall, and one under the leanto so I can roll my project out and work in the shade. Love SC but the summers are MURDER

No progress so far, other than a mostly flat area in the back lot. Waiting to do the final site prep once my Father in law is here with his transit.

Watch for a thread on the main board once I have something worthy of pictures
