Well, here's my craftsman 150 lots of pics. Nice and smooth, got it and all the pipe and fittings for $75, seen it on CL for 100 and went tonight to go grab it! Might not be a killer deal but I like the damn thing, came with a cute little vise too.

I saw that one on Craigslist. Thought it looked like a good deal.

It amazes me how many of these are still around and in great shape.

Drop the copper off at the local recycling center, and you're drill press will be even cheaper.
Good score!

Great deal

Those are nice drill presses. What size are those casters? Those alone would probably run close to $75 if you had to buy new. Not to even mention the large pipe fittings and valves.

Enjoy your new drill press.

I might do some air line and sink plumbing with the misc stuff, what's left over if it's not 1/2 or 3/4 goes to the scrap yard, Now I just gotta sell my other drill press that I got for free and it will be even cheaper.

The casters are about 3in. they were mounted to a piece of plywood that the DP was mounted on, took that right off. There is a name on the inside of the casters, I gotta take a wheel off to see what kind they are.

was that motor ever original to those style drill presses? I've only come across the style with the "striped" aluminum piece...

I'm not sure but it has the same style sticker as the band around the top of the DP. Anybody know about what year this one is?

That's a great DP for $75 especially with all the extra goodies you got . . . . I've been looking in my area for 6 mths and all I find is ****.

With a little rust removal . . . yours will be super fine.

Yes . . you've earned it . . . . . . YOU **** !!!

it has the same logo as the front of his drill press, would it not be original :dunno:

No, that's a "General Purpose" motor sold as a shelf item. Notice the U-mount rubber base. Many were sleeve bearing, and not designed for vertical mounting. Even if it's a sleever, it'll most likely work forever on a home shop DP.
