Found this in a box of tools. Has numbers UB0003014 stamped on it, no name or logo. Pull the handle and the center pin spreads the outer prongs and it all retracts into the case. A puller or compressor of some kind?

Looks like a cleco clamp tool. The cleco clamp is the little shaft apparatus that speads out. That whole thing should release from the tool so you can insert another one and clamp thin metal panels together with a bunch of the spring loaded clamping shafts. They fit in the 1/8" or 3/16" predrilled holes where the rivets or sheet metal screws go.

Not sure - bearing puller sounds more likely to me. OP, does that finger/wedge arrangement detach from the tool?
