Another mystery tools thread...

A few garage and estate sale tool box and machinist cabinets purchases later I have a few unknown to me tools... I'm sure you guys can ID them all.

Craftsman 43380 is an adjustable box wrench, but I have no idea where it would be used instead of a combo wrench. One is a circle cutter, but what application, sheet metal? Same question on the heavy wire brush and the split tip screwdriver.

The adjustable circle cutter can be used in wood that is not too thick. Kind of a poor man's whole saw, but it works in a pinch. Works best in a drill press

The funny ratchet wrench is made for refrigeration work - I think

Top left bit with the two knobs is an indicator holder. You mount a small dial indicator, like a "Last Word", to the little dovetail clamp, and put the main body in your lathe toolholder.

The block to it's immediate right is the base to a surface gage. There's usually a long rod that pivots off the top (we're shown the bottom in the picture) and either scribers or more dial indicators are mounted to it.

The circle cutter is exactly that- basically an infinitely-adjustable single-tooth hole saw. As noted above, ONLY use it in a drill press or mill, and only in wood or aluminum. Turn it slow.

And the ATD device at the top right- isn't that an oil filter wrench?

Second from left, bottom row -That looks like a shaft for an old door knob. Looks like an application with a knob on only one side.

The silver tool with the "spur" seems familiar, but I can't place it.

Is the tool in the bag a slide hammer?

Aha! The indicator holder slots nicely into the surface gauge.

While you might be able to use it for that, it was actually intended to be an adjustable socket wrench. Called the "pocket socket."

That screwdriver is split-tip for holding/starting screws. It looks a lot like an old klein my father has used since the 80's.

The items in the bag are a carburetor idle adjustment toolkit. I don't know the brand there, bit I had a similar one called a thexton 802 that I gave away.

The circle cutter is also known as a trepanning tool as seen in the link above.

The last unknown thing that looks like a spur is a deglazing tool for buffing or polishing pads. Used by auto detailers.

I'm a bit skeptical on this. Seems to be overly complex for a wheel/pad dresser. Below is a pic of the back. "Spur" wheel does not turn, but the other piece does. BTW its marked: Brookstone Pakistan.

Asked Brookstone customer service about it, but they had no idea.

The ratchet is for refrigeration. The spur might be for leather work.

Curious about the spur tool. It is similar to an anti kick device used on radial arm saws when ripping.

Yes! More specifically, the interior knob for a mortise lockset on an exterior door, usually there's a thumblatch and integrated deadbolt (which threads into the mortise body and is retained by a long set screw, at least on the more modern ones) on the exterior side.

Hopefully a locksmith will happen by and correct my sloppy terminology.
