Another New Guy from CT...

I've been a member over at the Hokey for a few years and have checked out this board and a few of the others (FordBarn, DogFight, Gear) for a couple of years. Basically, I'm a gearhead that doesn't really get off my *** to put any of my knowledge to use. I'm more content sitting here and "learning" more w/o applying the practical aspect of it. Both my grandfathers were machinist and I believe I've inherited a certain amount of my "mechanical-ness" from them. I've always had the good fortune to be able to understand, figure things out and fix about 1/2 the stuff I've worked on. I'm pretty hard on myself about the other 1/2. I'm an excellent procrastinator, as well. That's about it. I hope to come up w/ a motivator soon and introduce my kids to the wonderful world of working with your hands.

I use my father-in-law's garage/shop up the street cuz we're renting...

Looks like the weather is breaking after yesterday's crumminess, should be a great day for a visit.

Any plans for a build project? I must confess I'm a lurker for now...
