Stumbled upon this forum a few times and lurked and laughed. I never realized there were others that had similar addictions/OCD.

I have been collection old tools and trinkets for a long time. I have other hobbies that include cooking/smoking/sausage making. So I have a OCD with rebuilding commercial food equipment to use in "my basement kitchen".

I also tinker with restoring antique tow trucks.

I am fortunate enough to have a hobby shop where the best tool in the shop is the 55 ton iron worker.

Nickel: are you able to take a few pictures and post your 55 ton machine or tool so we can see it and so you'll know how to post pictures.

we are a good bunch and happy to have another like minded person join our group. funny how i can see something 1/8th of an inch off level and i have to try and fix it and i can have a pile of stuff in a corner that needs to be gone through and put away and i might leave it there for a week. do you call that OCD or something else? in any case if you have any questions just ask questions either here or on the many threads if you have any and we'll try to help if we can.

i just picked up this big old 1978 Ford flatbed truck and not sure if i'm going to keep it. any experience with trucks of this era and what is your take on them?

welcome
