Hello everyone,

What a fun and interesting site this is! Very nice to see how everyone treats his garage.
After weeks of this site to have seen me anyway logged, now first test but what in the what has been reserved. post photos for everyone to see, etc.
Welding, engineering, construction, these are things that I have good sound but with computers ..... it is not so! And my english ..... google translate is a useful component.

Who am I; A married guy of 35 years now, recently father of a handsome and healthy daughter. Her name is Fleur, born 15-12-2012 (USA 12-15-2012).
My wife, daughter and I live in a village on the Gooimeer (formerly South Sea) The village name is Huizen. A beautiful place, beautiful house with a garage. For USA/ canadian notions very small, but reasonable for Dutch standards (price/space). Meanwhile the house substantially rebuilt. This was a condition of my wife ..... :dunno: before I could start on the garage.

These renovations I want on this forum show, of course peppered with my hobbies; rc planes, Fiat 500 from 1968, my Mercedes Benz W124 250D from 1990 (Themselves totally restored), crafts, Honda SS50 from 1978 (my year of birth) and my daily car a Volvo 745 from 1986, cigars, wine and fun!

Funny just to mention is that my previous Mercedes W124 have recently sold. This car had 8 years I had. Bought with 238,000 km. When the car 600,000 km. i had ridden him sold. Car was shipped to Beirut / Libanon. Maybe I will see him again come on TV during the news. Heavy machine gun on the roof..... :bigun2:

Before I continue with my thread so I first significant test.

Welcome to the GJ. Post some pictures of your country.

Ok, i try!

I try to give an impression of my place. It is a traditional Dutch-built housing estate. Approx 1986, this district was built. For many people who find themselves in this forum, this surface is very small. I find this too and I dream of a bigger garage/house. Unfortunately, we live here in a densely populated country where land prices are expensive.

This is February 2006. The first look at 'our' first home. Finally in March 2006 purchased.

The garage does have separate dimensions, it is actually a triangle. For the garage is 8.5 meters wide. The depth is 9.5 meters and 2.0 meters behind the garage.
Here in January 2012, the (exit) Mercedes on the drive.

The garage has no attic. This I am going to places this winter / this spring. The garage has five or six years served as storage. Finally becomes a real 'man-cave'. Small is beautiful..... My little Fiat is permanently parked. The challenge is order to best to deal with these small space

From this position, a look from the back to the front. I must admit the pictures it all seems small. But in reality, the space really larger. It is a mess so, this is currently all better for each other!

Another look from the outside during a test with the jet of my neighbor. It's great if you have the same passion. We tinker occasionally something and drink a beer  .

This is a look from the garage into the driveway. The beetle is of a friend but I do all the service for him. He helps me back with things I can not.

And last picture of my homemade workbench. Large, solid and beautifully finished. When I had finished the workbench, I let him with hammertone blue powdercoating. I am very proud and he does have many years of service. Sometimes someone who would like to buy, but because I now do other work, I can not come cheap steel. So that I never left.

I tried a little bit of an impression of my garage, always nice to see the same from others. Meanwhile the garage cleaned up and otherwise temporarily assigned. This to the preparation and execution of making the attic layouts.

Obviously I will progress in the designated thread post, first a few things control on this forum. That strikes me not easy.....

Hi Big-Foot, Epe is a beautiful village. I work in Harderwijk and Epe is situated about 8 km (5 miles) away. In the fall I always groups of deer spotting (a stupid habit) with some colleagues around the forests of Epe.

Obviously after spotting drinking beer and eating croquettes! always fun.
