Hello, just recently found the site and have been enjoying browsing through all the threads. I can see this place is going to be bad for my checkbook! I currently have a 30x50 shop I work out of. It is currently uninsulated so I am constantly trying to fight the west Texas dust that builds up inside!

I have been welding/fabricating for quite some time and am pretty geared up with Arc and Mig machines, plasma cutters, torches etc. But my hand tool collection is what I am looking to upgrade. I just picked up a new to me Matco box last week, first decent box I have ever had. I plan on starting to fill it up with quality tools so I can put all my other small sets back together and have backups/travel sets etc. I'm sure it's going to take a while to get my collection together, but I figure you have to start somewhere.

I really look forward to jumping in here and learning from all the experts. Just for grins, I'll attach a picture of my new box.

Hidy ho neighbor!

Welcome to the greatest garage on the planet. The lights are always on, the compressor never runs out of air and there are more wall plugs than you got toys.
So go ahead look around all ya wants, hey, everyone should be fully entitled to feed their own addiction.

Fine print warning. This site can cause ratchet envy, the depletion of the vacation fund account, and reckless driving in pursuit of big shiny tool trucks. And please boys and girls remain seated with all safety restraints firmly engaged until the 'toy store' comes to a complete stop.

Welcome to the best web site ever, neighbor -- but buddy, spend you will! :lol_hitti

Thanks Marty! Recently made my first trip to Louisiana to buy a 67 Camaro. Spent a few days in New Orleans and then went and got the car around Thibadoux. Loved your state, everyone was super friendly. Although that humidity is hard on us West Texans!
