Another new guy would like to say hi!

Hello all!
I'm a bored to tears retired guy with a garage cluttered with various tools, classic cars/motorcycles, and a bunch of stuff I don't even know I have. Been trying to sort it all out during the last year or so, but I haven't made much progress. Meanwhile, this fun and informative forum has helped me realize that I'm not alone in this regard.

FMB: you certainly are not alone.

might i mention i have FSB (flat surface disease) which i'm also hearing is fairly common and even curable. i had to name it before i actually knew what it was.

welcome to the group and we are all trying to get a bit better every day so do a little bit in the garage and then sit on your computer and get to know a few of us. i didn't know anybody on this site when i joined and had just met a member that said i should join.

i now know a lot of the members in person and i know a lot of guys via reading and posting on their threads, emailing or PM (private message inside our forum). so in less than 4 years i'm still logging on here every morning to see what i can learn or help with and i've gained more than a few friends.

RETIRED only means you are busier doing your own thing so whatever that might be set goals or just make daily TO DO LISTS. ask questions if you need help on threads talking about that subject or start a new thread if it's a topic that could use one. or just teach us what you know even if you don't think you know much i'm guessing if you've lived this long you probably do.
