Just found out about this forum. I wish I knew about it before I started my garage but at least I'll be able to learn.

Originally, I had a 36x72 barn (new construction) that burned down in 2001. The foundation was still good so I added an end wall at 32' and poored a 6" slab on grade. I had figured that with my time on the weekends and nights after work, I could finish the frame, siding and roof in one year. I did however, I decided to finish entirely.... drywall, electrical, finished second floor and I am just starting to move things in right now.

she's 32x36 3 bay with 10' ceilings. 1 custom 10x10 barn swinging door and 2 overhead 8' doors...... scary with a fullsize. I used attic trusses for the use of a full garage with no columns and to use the upstairs as a small office for a new company I started this past year. The garage is functional with water, 60 amps of service and soon to have an auto lift.

right now, its home to my pickup, atv, lawnmowers, my corvette, bobcat, all the tools and a few extra.During the winter, we put our 28' horse trailer in the large bay.

Here is a pic from 2003 after finishing the frame.

yes i do. Allthough that pic doesn't show them, I cut out 24x36 for a single window at each gable end. Without them (incresed circulation), it is sweltering up there. Recently, I poured a 5x8 pad to the left for a 275 gallon tank which I intend to fill with diesel for the upcoming winter months....

I have a 1993 40th anniversary tripple ruby convertible with a 6 speed. One of 498 vert ruby's made that year. Here are a few more pics. Please note that the bed upstairs in my office is not kosher. I realize this but I just recently graduated from college and I needed a place to store it. No secretary interviews
