Another new member from GA

Hi all, just a quick hello to introduce myself.
I live in Alpharetta, GA, which is about 10 miles north of Atlanta. I have been searching for a garage forum for awhile, and was thrilled to stumble across this site!
I am currently in the research phase of my garage re-do. I have a regular ol' 2 car attached garage that is 21'7" by 22' with a side storage room that is 7'6" deep by 12'6' wide. I'm looking to set up an area for a work bench and a hoist to hang my small trailer that I use to take to the track. I drive a 2006 MINI Cooper S and my husband drives a 2005 Nissan Titan Crew Cab, parked outside is my 2001 PT Cruiser that my teenaged son will drive when he gets his license in the spring.
Enough for now, just glad to find this forum!

It does seem that alot of Georgians are finding this forum. Maybe it's because it's finally getting cool enough to entertain the idea of working out in the garage?
Anyway, thanks for the welcome. I've spent every spare moment today reading through the threads. I'm really getting psyched to start on my remodel. It won't be anything compared to what I've seen here since I'm not skilled at working on cars in any way, but I have been learning. I've attended a few tech get-togethers that the local MINI club has put on, and I'm learning loads from all my new track buddies. I will mostly use my garage to detail my MINI and do general maintenance. The more I learn, the more I hope to do myself.

LOL, you're good! I love Road Atlanta, but that's probably because it's the only track I've been able to make time to get to. I'm going to Barber in the spring and hopefully will branch out from there.
