I came across this site as I was looking into insulation for my shop. It's a "sheet" metal building which is 30'x42'. I've been working on this for 3 years trying to get issues with the building manufacturer resolved. Now that I have begun the contruction process I have nothing but problems with the ******* inspectors. That is a whole story in itself. I'm doing the research on insulation because I need to have some in place to meet the code and am trying to decide what to use. I have a radiant slab with a Takagi tankless boiler. The building company is supplying wall insulation, I have to come up with the rest. I am not putting anything under the slab because I have the stone, vapor barrier, wire mesh and radiant tubing down already. I really don't want to redo everything. So that's where I am in my build.
