Howdy folks. I've been lurking on the board for a few months but decided it is time to get a bit more involved. My wife and I sold our old starter home and upgraded to 2400+ square foot home on one acre in Denton. The garage isn't huge but it is still quite a bit larger than my old one. That said, I'm still gonna have trouble finding places to put all my tools.
It was a real mess a couple of weeks after moving in. It was actually much worse than this picture shows but the garage attic is fully decked and I managed to get a lot of stuff up into that storage area.

The movers dumped all my lumber on the side. I had thought they buried my Stihl line trimmer under there but fortunately the moved it before dumping everything.

After a bit of work, it is starting to actually look like a garage. I can even get my wife's Equinox in there. I should have just enough room for my F-150 when I finish up. I've got to build up a little ramp for the shed so I can put the mower in there. I also have that pile of junk to take to the dump this week. Finally, I need to get a few tools off that back wall. The truck is going to have to make full use of the garages length.
As you can see, the parking spaces are surrounded by a curb. Most of my tools are on mobile bases, so I can simply build a ramp to roll them off the curb. I'm thinking of either adding on to the garage for my shop, or building a totally new 3 car garage/shop in the back. Of course that is a few years down the road..
For now, my plans are to make some repairs, put down some new flooring, insulate, put in some HVAC and make it so I can work in there year round..
