Pretty sure this one dates a good way back. Would like to know how far back. Have had it buried in my barn for between 30 and 40 years. As small as it looks, it all one person can do to lift it.
It has an adjustable depth stop and you can lock the down feed of the spindle. There are 4 factory tapped holes in the table/base. Not sure what would have been mounted on it.
There is a 3/4" hole on the back of the base. What`s left of the shaft that was in it, had been torched off long ago. I think a small table may have slid in and out on the shaft, to locate each speed of a 3 groove pulley on the motor. The belt went up over the mule drive and then to the spindle pulley. At least that is the way o plan to set it up.
From some other tapped holes, I would guess that there was a belt guard around the spindle pulley. I will fab something up. --- John
