Screwdrivers thrown in. Almost good enough to leave as-is, but am planning on giving it a repaint sometime next year. I believe it's late '70s or so.

Oh yeah...$100 :pimpflash

Nice box, I wish they sill made the style and quality but with ball bearing slides. I was at a sale today were they had the identical tool box new in the box (exactly), they wanted $350, they also had a bottom box from around the same period but it was 33 to 34 inches wide (a little to wide for friction slides for my liking), they were asking $550, it was new but had a few blemishes. Here are some of the other vintage boxes that were there (the Mac is in the box behind the snow blower):

I've got that same box with the center section and roll around bottom(minus the castors) in my service truck. They are a sturdy, well made box.
I've also got a similar Matco box in my garage.

I like the old style handles like this one has that read 'Mac Tools" on them. Nice find and I'm sure it will look great after a bit of metal work and shiney new coat of paint.

Nice find  I have the same vintage box with different drawer handles. It has the same drawer configuration.

I have that same box but the drawer lock in the back does not work too well. I have an old screwdriver to jiggle the lock down. It will unlock fine, probably needs a good cleaning. Anyway its a heavy old dude. Nice find!
