Hello all,
My name is Bob and now am a proud member ( I hope)
I have been looking at this forum for years and never joined ( poor me)
I found this site while researching Walker mechanical jacks.
I was able to acquirer one that did not work that was stuck in the up position and the seller could not get it to go down.
It looked like it had been sitting outside in dirt for many years.
and it did not roll or swivel on the rear casters they were too far gone.
Got it home and proceeded to disassemble it and lubed and got it to function as it should.
Next was to locate rear casters impossible to find i might add.
Managed to locate some through E-bay ( paid dearly for them).
And now I have a mechanical jack that functions and no use for it( I have a Mohawk 7k twin post that satisfies my need for height when required
I own a 1965 Ranchero Deluxe 289 factory 4 speed pretty much all work was previously done.
I was gas station mechanic turned Volvo Tech (1986) turned Volvo Corp. Help desk 2002 til 2009 then Volvo in use emission testing coordinator til 2013 when I retired.

Welcome from Mt. Lassen, and congrats on your Walker Roll-a-car... Nice score, and you know now you'll have to post pix of the resto on it, as well as all the cool cars being moved on it... and the garage it'sbeing used in... --evil grins--
