Anyone ever see a Union/Parker that utilizes a roundheaded pin, split washer and flat washer to attach the static jaw to the swivel base (as opposed to a nut)? If so, how do you separate the two housings without damaging anything?
Also, the guide on this vise appears to utilize a removable tab/wedge rather than a drift pin from the bottom side in order to hold the guide in place... everything appears to be 100% original.
Anyways, forgive the crappy photos.
This vise is immaculate as far as I can tell, just warrants a round of electrolysis , a fresh application of grease, and some paste wax.
I'd say the jaw serrations are 99% sharp and untouched. No dings, divots, etc to be found anywhere on the vise and the handle/swivelbase wrench are straight as an arrow. Even the slotted head screw for the cover plate appears to be untouched.
