So is anyone going to email this guy and tell him that's what he's got? Then see if he changes his ad? :wtf:

I'm not at all familiar with Clarke. Can someone give me a brief history of them?

clarke was an imported of cheap products. they filed for bankruptcy last year. the local farm supply carried clarke, they looked about as impressive as harbor freight.

LMAO......you guys are brutal........but good ! I would hate to know some guy spent his money on what APPEARED to be a Snap-On box and get screwed in the process.

I'll bet the guy puts an ad in the local "penny pincher" paper to try to unload it.

I have a Clarke HD box. I paid about 1500 delivered for top, bottom and side locker. I think it's a really good box for a home user. I would want a better, heavier box if I was a pro wrench...

Now that is BULL$#!%

As of 1:07 PM EST today he knew it wasn't Snap on (Post #23 in this thread from mkdive) where he re-lists it to its present listing where he claims it just has Snap on stickers.

This guy now knows it isn't SNAP ON and advertises it as Snap on as of today at 1:31 PM

What a Sleazy thing to do....

I saw this thread last night and thought this guy is a scammer... Well I've been on a mission to find a larger box and have been looking within driving distance, clicked this add and that poser box popped up and I LMAO. The nerve of some people. I don't have a Craigs account, but someone could post a reply to his ad and let people know it is a scam. :lol_hitti

I'm going to call him and see if he's interested in trading his Snap On box for my Clarke CBB226 Mobile Tool Cabinet.

Just a couple more people need to click the link, then flag the ad and it will be automatically removed.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, just click on the ad, then look over to the right of the ad, you'll see "flag this posting", click that and if a couple of people do it, it gets taken down automatically.

I flagged, now it's your turn.

I have also seen some fakes on Craigs List. I usually ask for the serial number on the back of a Snap-ON box. They allways seemed shocked that Snap puts there name and even a model number on the back of the box. At that point is when you start getting the BS story about how they bought it from a friend of a friend

I wonder how many angry phone calls he has received; I would love to hear those conversations! :lol_hitti

Maybe we should call him and ask? I'm sure he has turned off his cell by now...
