i have read most of the replies on here and am suprised that you guys cant figure out the make of that box then i remember no self respecting mechanic would shop there!! the box is a older model US general and is only worth about 300 bucks at............................................ you guessed it HARBORFREIGHT TOOLS

I thought it was against ebay policy to sell something outside of ebay during an active auction? He had one active bid in the auction...and the same time he has his CL ad going.....cant we get him banned from ebay?

I see people all the time say they also have the item for sale locally (usu. car sales) and reserve the right to end the auction early if they sell. So I'd assume that's permitted.

About 6 months ago or so, I drove over to a "machinist's" house to buy what was supposed to be an older KR chest. The photo in the CL ad was blurry.
When I got there, it was so obviously not a SO chest or anything equivalent (cheap and thin gauge sheetmetal, fasteners (i.e. handles, rivets, etc) cheap runners.
It had two crappy SO stickers on it. And he kept insisting it was SO.
I told him I didn't think it was and left.

is it just me but the top section on the left of the yellow box looks very fishy like the red limited edition corvette box that was on here a couple months ago. looks awefully similar in dimensions. is it the same guy then as now?

I checked Homak, close but not it.... I checked International, close but not it, not a Torin... Kinda a mix between a Homak and International.....
6 years ago they figured out it was a Clarke...
