Not to step on the toes of any of the fine craftsmen here who build & sell the fantastic wire form pliers / wrench organizers, but I noticed another nice DIY idea over on the Workshop blog from Lifehacker:

Uses a piece of wire shelving, a few simple bends, cut to size to fit the tool drawer, and there you go:
I was planning on going the route of taking one of the dish racks and cutting it down, but with all the wire shelving scraps that I have, I might be able to just go ahead and do this straight up for my pliers drawer.
