Another Porcelain Tile Project

Got the grout and caulking all done this weekend. The color matched caulk was pretty amazing. You really need to get close to the grout lines to pick it out from the regular grout.

I used Mapei Ultracolor Plus FA. I mixed in 10 lb increments and did small sections and was able to stay ahead of it pretty comfortably.

Last tile project is to tile the step at the back of the garage. Any thoughts on how to lay it out. The step is both wider and deeper than a 24 x 12 tile. Does it look best to keep a full tile at the front of the step, with the joint in the middle, or split the difference?

I also assume lining up the grout line to the vertical portion would look the most natural
