Another Question about 120v/240v Air Compressor

I bought the Kobalt 30-gallon air compressor I posted about a couple of weeks ago. I have searched this board and I haven't found an answer.

It is currently set up for 120v, but I would like to change it over to 240v. The wiring diagram on the motor is self-explanatory. My question is, do I need to do anything different on the pressure switch?

Please forgive my ignorance. I just want to make sure I don't fry something.

The pressure switch only needs to switch the hot leg when wired 120. If wired 240, both legs, being hot, should be switched. If the pressure switch is double pole, wire both hot legs thru it. If the pressure switch is single pole you should either get a double pole switch, so both legs can be switched, or use the existing single pole switch to control a double pole contactor, a cheaper solution depending on your sources and resourcefulness.

I switched my Campbell Hausfeld 2hp compressor over to 240V. It has a Doerr motor. It ran much better, started quicker. I had a motor shop switch it over the first time (no charge since they were working on the motor anyway). No other changes necessary.

Moved to a new house without a 240V outlet. The switchover was easy. Just need to move one jumper wire. (Make sure you move it to the right one). I didn't make any changes to the pressure switch or regulator in either case.

the current wiring probably has the hot & neutral wired thru the switch contacts .
when you re wire the motor for 240 the neutral will become a hot on 240 . that former neutral stays on the switch where it is.
all you change is the motor wiring and leave the switch alone. also change the plug on the cord obviously
