I just finished a Racedeck installation and would like to make the following comments:
Everyone asks about what does it feel or sound like when you walk on Racedeck floors. I was worried because some of the threads talked about "clacking" (Is that a word?) and the need to place garden weed retardent mesh under the floor. I would not go that way and just install them as they are. The tiles appear rigid when you look at them individualy but as a whole they actualy have some flexibility. There is no objectionable sound and the feel is like a thick rubber mat. Make sure that the floor is as clean as possible. I used a shopvac on each area before the tile was put down.
They are very easy to install and I doubt if a normal garage (500 sf) would take more than a day. The hardest part is to cut around stairs but they do cut very easily.
We dragged some heavy cabinets and workbenches across them and I was amazed at how durable they were. I had some pieces left over and will save them in case replacement would be needed in the future.
Customer service is great and the whole experience was better than I expected.
