Still in progress on my RD install. I'm working alone and suffer from FGBB syndrome (Fat guy, bad back). That and all the other chores required around the place when I'm not at work.

Buying was easy over the phone. Ordered during the Friday before Father's day weekend and it was shipped by the end of the day (!) I got the GJ discount, but not the FD sale.:headscrat

Very simple to install. I have a 24x26 with a 5x5 room in the upper corner that won't get decked (at least for now). Layout dictated some of the install, but won't vary much from original plan. I had about 10 designs and worried way too much about it. Wife like the Checkered flag stripe and my GT500 is white with blue rally and shelby rocker stripes and red (Pit) fender stripes. The colors really "pop" I LOVE the red.

Install would be a lot eaiser if I was able to total empty out the shop, but that wasn't going to happen. Driveway up to the shop is gravel so I wasn't going to roll out my tool boxes, not to mention the loaded cabinets. I quickly realized the reason that RD recommends an empty floor. You want the ability to let the floor shift a bit as you are filling out the 'L' and making your parimeter clearances. So far so good, though.

I need to get some edges ordered first thing Tuesday. I begged off on them at first, but now with the tiles laid, I think I want them at the garage door entrances.

Paint for the walls is next. I know, I know, should have painted them first, but I really wanted the RD, if nothing else to cover the gawd aweful peeling floor paint. It gets everywhere.

Crappy cell phone pics attached.....

Looks Great, Chief. That checkerboard stripe and the accent colors really pop. Congrats.

It is easier with an empty shop, but I thought I was the only one who had too much stuff to be able to do that... You will have to post some pix of the GT in the garage.

Finished!. Next is finish window casings, then paint and baseboards. Looking at hanging a sheet of slat wall where my banners are now. Oh and finish the lighting (getting rid of the remaining bare bulbs).
