I've been in the market for a decent set of screwdrivers for about a year now. I use my Kleins daily for work (sparky). The tips are well formed, but soft and are the trade standard. I really wanted something else for the garage box, so the search started. I figured a basic six piece set would be a good starting point to find something I liked.
I've had the Craftsman screwdrivers forever. You know the ones. They **** and don't fit much of anything well.
Wera Kraftforms were first. Funky handle but well made and seem to fit well. After using them for about a year, no complaints but thought I could do better.
On SK day I Picked up a set of their cushion grips. Very nice. Comfortable handle. Now I understand what all the hype is about the Craftsman Pros. Same grip design. Need to use them some more to come to a decision, but initially, I like them.
Next was a set of the Williams that are supposed to be the old Snap on design. Ordered a set listed in the hot deals section from the Amazon warehouse. Looked to be well made, but I really didn't like the handle. The set was also missing pieces, so back they went.
Yesterday, I ordered a set of the Proto Durateks. They were delivered this morning and wow, are they nice. Stuey nailed it.

These things ooze quality. The shafts are laser etched with the part number and feel great in the hand. I need to give them a good workout, but I'm pretty sure quite a few more are going on my Zoro wish list.
