I dropped by sears on Friday after work and they didn't have the ratchets, pliers, or this box from the 80th anniversary stuff. I did get the $2 metal car with mini pliers and screwdrivers inside it and I bought one of the 3 drawer toolboxes for $15.

Maybe it is different for me but I have not been able to pull that item up on the website since Friday night. I was going to buy one but was too late. I did get the $6 pliers set online that night.

I didn't see the toolbox for $15, but I did order a few of the similar red box when it was half price last week at $24.99. I did see that plastic toolbox at $1.97 or so, that's not shabby! Dang it I should've ordered yesterday, since they still had the pliers for %6.97 (my cart says no longer available for shipping), plus the free shipping on tool orders over $49 which doesn't appera to be offered anymore....drats.

Linky no worky....anymore. That was a valid link before; it appears once sears runs out of the item they bascially say 'we don't know what you're talking about' for the link anymore. This happens even if you have/had the item in your shopping cart. Ah wlel, I think maybe I'll save my $$ for black friday, they had some serious sales then, except the last couple years I have tried to get on there the web site crashes continously under the load.

I ordered several of those last night, for pickup and then my order was cancelled as none in stock, so I shipped them. We'll see if they actually ship. I also managed to stop by the Sears that's about an hour from here today looking for clearance stuff and all I saw were those boxes! Hope they actually ship them, otherwise I should have bought the boxes today. I'm already a little ticked at their website.

Their website leaves something to be desired. When I was looking last night, I noticed that if I added a couple boxes to my shopping cart, the store would say "in stock," but then if I added more - it wouldn't say "not enough stock" it would just say "out of stock." Regardless, it let me order them and then sent me an email saying they were out of stock -- but when I stopped by today they had plenty. :wtf:

No.. I think it's: "He who depends on Sears is asking for gross disappointment."
