Another Sears website issue???

The Tool section of the Sears website currently says:

"Online Only 10% off All Tool Storage, Hand Tools, Garage Organization and Mechanic's Tool Sets, Exclusions Apply, See Details".

When you click to see details, it says:

"10% off all Tool Storage, Hand Tools, Garage Organization and Mechanic's Tool Sets thru 2/4/2009. Excludes Great Price items, and closeouts."

Seems simple enough. The Problem is, I have thrown at least a dozen different hand tools in my shopping cart, none of which is a "Great Price item" or "closeout", and I see NO discount. Am I doing something wrong, or are the Sears webmasters screwing us again?

For what it's worth, Sears seems to have fixed this glitch today for the last day of the sale. I was able to order a few tools with the discount, although a few items that never seem to go on sale (such as the craftsman hose clamp pliers) are not getting the discount even though they are clearly a hand tool.

Well, I went in with the December calendar coupon to buy the adjustable C-Man oil filter wrench and was told it wouldn't ring up with the coupon because it was an automotive tool. I was like, "WTF?". And then walked out - they lost about $70 worth of stuff I was going to get. Maybe the hose clamp pliers have the same issue?

Aha, all of those non-discounted items are in the automotive tool aisles of the store. The others are in the mechanic's tool section. Low SEARS, low.

Funnier is when Hanson trays don't count as "socket organization" or when certain wrench types, such as deep offset or x-beam/crossforce, don't count as "wrenches" or "wrench sets"

I believe that everything is automatically handled, but nobody supervises for issues such as these.

I tried the sale, and was able to order one thing a friend had been having me keep my eye out for (and using my gift card, just in case).

BUT the last two online orders (this one included), I never received the confirmation email, or the pickup email. I had to email customer service, to get the receipt number, so I could call the store and check. This time, they say I am not even in the cue, so they are supposed to resend (yeah right )
