Ok, so i think i have about read every post about shop heat units on this forum and others. The problem i have is venting. I originally wanted to go horizontal but because of my sofits being about 9' from ground and 1.5' overhang i think it will look ugly, and very expensive compared to vertical venting. So, to avoid cutting a hole in my steel roof i was thinking about the following...
Vent vertical:confused through ceiling into attic, horizontal out from attic. That way i can have the exhaust up higher and still not have to cut a hole in the roof.
I havent read anything of this being done.
Is this ok? Would i be able to use the cheaper B vent for this as apposed to the stainless needed for horizontal venting? The wall i will exit in the attic is just the outer steel, would not have to worry about combustibles.
