Yes...as long as it is straight. Should be a 26" KRA55, could be a 24" KRA53.

I think your first guess is correct. Looks too big for a 53.

Turned out to be a KRA55A. Looked even better than in the pics, which almost never happens. This is actually my first Snap-on box and holy **** is this thing heavy! I had no idea. Compared to a Craftsman of the same size this thing weighs 4 times as much, if not more.

Yup, you can definitely smell quality. Never owned an SO box in 47 years. Within the last month I now own 4...............

I bought one of these boxes last year. It was my first SO box as well. I just picked up a KRA380 for $300 to go under it. Nice boxes. $80 is a killer price.

Yes, I coughed up the asking price of $80. I called him last night at 4:45 and he had left the shop for the day. I was there at 9:00am today when he opened and he said he had received 6 other calls asking to hold it. I would have been happier paying $20...lol, but I'm happy with it, that's all that matters.

If you take care of that box, it will hold it's value. They don't make them like that any more.

1990 from what I can tell.
