Greetings All!

I joined the forum a while ago and have have promoted myself to lurker extraordinaire! I'm really quite good at it. I have found I don't have much to add at this point, but I am learning from the many great posts here. The builds on here are awe inspiring and the I've found the general tool info to be helpful as well.

Thanks to all of you for a great site!

As for me, I recently moved to Flower Mound and hope to be able to build a new detached garage in the next 18 months or so. If I can get the HOA (and my wallet) on board, I'm planning for a 30 x 40 with doors on the 30' side. If I can, I want to get a 14' door to get a 28' toyhauler in one side and the other side will have a workspace with loft on the back half with a 4 post in the front half. Aside from the HOA issues, I will need decent amount of fill to raise the grade to the current driveway/house level if I want water/sewer in the shop.

The more I read here, the more I want to add. The more I want to add, the less likely it is I can afford it. It is the curse of GJ! If I ever get to do it, I'll be sure to document and share here.

Welcome to the GJ from VA!
Let us know how it goes with the HOA. Sounds like you have your work load cut out for you.
