I have seen this deal for over a month at Sears. I'm not sure about the shop your way rewards points, but the price has been $49.99.

There is a Sears near me that is closing, their price was $99.99 with 10% off about a month ago when I was in there. LOL

The 20pc set has been that price for several months, fluctuating a bit in between, but that's what I paid for the same set in July. Still a great deal.

This is a popular Sears holiday gift item. Sells for $50 most of the year, especially around Christmas time and Fathers Day.

Although...

Since gearwrench just came out with their reversible ratcheting wrenches in the 120xp design, my guess is the old rat/rev ones will start getting clearances out

Ratcheting wrench sets will be a dime a dozen on Black Friday. They are a favorite to put on door buster sales at Sears, local auto parts stores, etc. At this point, I'd hold out for Black Friday.

I bought this set on black friday and it was 49.99. They basicly had every single gearwrench on sale for 50 percent off on black friday.

Note, this set used to be Taiwan made, and now most of the stock is China.

Is it less reliable or anything, who knows ... ? Is it cheaper for Gear Wrench to get it from China? Almost certainly.

I got a Taiwan set just under two years ago for the same $50 on special at Sears, down from $100. I'm sure some Sears will still have the odd Taiwan set sitting around.

If I could do it again, I'd probably want the set with the little reversible lever and an angled head, rather than a flat spanner that I have to flip to change direction.
