I was in my local Orcheln store which for you who dont know its a farm and home type store. I was walkig buy and caught a glimps of some toolboxes that were on sale. I dont know much about Homak but i must say they looked and felt very industrial and the fit and finsh was fairly nice. They only had 1 color and it was black and they had slider models along with ball bearing and i really couldnt tell the difference between the two. Does anyone know anything about them, Have one? If i remember correctly it was gonna cost me around 700 to get a bottom and top on sale. I dont recall the model number but i have included the link to assist.

I bought this mid chest to serve as my Asian tool 'ghetto' for $50 shipped from Amazon. Not bad quality, it's BB and has the drawer detents that lock or whatever. JMO but with all the deals to be had I would look for a used deal on a truck brand box for under $700 or some kind of Sears clearance deal.

Got a homak top box in trade. US made, weighs 110 lbs which I thought was heavy for its size, has friction slides. Was not impressed with the quality, the drawers were bent and didn't line up well, bent them back by hand. Sells online for $323. and I haven't sold it yet for $75 but in all fairness, I haven't displayed it well either.

I agree with harrycaul above, look for a used truck brand of similar size. There's a lot of older SO's out there that can be had for the same money that will outlast a new homak. Good luck in your search!!!!!!!!!!
