Another Tool identification thread

The first one I know what it is so I'm testing your knowledge. The old timers should get it pretty easily.

The second item I have no clue. I found it in our company tool room. It's sort of Snap On red but no other identifying marks. The needle thing is sharp as heck.

I think the second one is for scribing tires to check the toe. You jack the car up, chalk the tire treads, then using the device set on the floor, scribe a line while spinning the wheel. Then lower the car and measure across the lines in the front and rear.

Thank you!

I found it with some old Snap On turn plates, camber gauges and toe bar. I've never seen this used.

Nobody knows what the first item is? Hint: It's tire related
