So I just picked up a couple of boxes (one was easy to identify, as it was grey/red and had this elongated V on it...) and was having trouble figuring out who made this.

I think it is Mac or Matco, as I seem to remember others talking about the square handles, and the black retaining clip thingy's to hold the drawer in. I can see where the label would have gone (by the grease residue). I didn't see anything with this particular layout though. Was in medical supply inventory that a guy cleared out. Also took a picture of the knob on the bottom storage thingy in case that helps. When the door is anything but fully open, it locks the drawers. Works well for keeping my 2.5yo son out of my tools...

As long as he is having fun, I don't really care what he plays with. I do consider myself lucky that he currently is in a "help daddy" phase. He helps me turn screws/ratchets/etc.

Definitely Waterloo. Should be a date next to or above/below the Made in USA I can see on the front face, just above the right caster. As far as brand, that could be any number of brands such as plain Waterloo, Bonney, S-K, MAC/MATCO, Proto, etc.

The reason I was thinking Mac/Matco was the squared handles. I just re-looked, and everything I can find for "branded" Waterloo and Proto were round handled. Thanks for pointing/ out the Made in USA imprint. I knew it was vintage and fairly heavy duty, but nice to have USA confirmation. Will post dates when I am home. Wasn't sure if the stickers helped give a clue to brand name.

In the early 70's, Waterloo was also labeling an economy brand using the "All American" label with an Eagle logo on a paper decal. Those boxes had rounded handles, so I doubt it's one of those.

Thanks for all the help. I know it originally came out of a medical place, wasn't sure if it was the intent behind it. Dated 6 84, so newer than my original guess but still fairly old (over 30yrs).
