I was looking at that today, too. Looks like WalMart can order 5 qt jugs of the MaxLife Synblend for $17. That'd be $7 for a jug, not bad.

I haven't heard good things about WM's ship-to-store for pickup, though. Not sure if I want to try.

Can someone please confirm, that ''motor oil'' does not include the transmission oil? Like this stuff?

It's also about $17 at Walmart. So if I can get $10 back, it makes a transmission fluid change $20, which would cost $200 at the dealer.

I use VR-1 20/50 in my motorcycle. I have a hard time finding it in quarts. Have never seen it in 5 quart jugs. The web site lists service stations that will change my oil. No idea where I will buy this but I don't have time to hunt for stuff.

I believe the rebate's only 5 qt jugs. 1 gallon does not 5 qts make

I haven't had any problems at the one I've done more recent pickups at. Another store I had done a pickup at made you go to the bowels of the back for the pickup, to only have a guy that didn't have a clue to what he was looking for. I think they took the 'greater guy' up front and stuck him back there. It was so ridiculously long of a wait, I had no problem telling him he needed to find a different department.

Don't know if it qualifies for the rebate, but make sure that's the right ATF for your transmission. Some transmissions are very picky.
