Another Vise Jaw question

I have a USA made, 5-1/2" Columbian vise someone gave me when they got a new one. It is a nice vise but one of the jaws is broken. I have search and searched but cannot find the right jaws that will fit it. I was hoping to just order some but apparently it isn't that easy.

Mine are 5-1/2" wide, 3/4" tall and 7/16" thick. The screw holes are 3" centers.

I have searched on here as well and have found nothing of use. There was mention to a link I think was viseparts.com or something but when I went there it was no longer a viable link.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The website they were probably trying to send you to was probably www.benchvisejaws.com which is owned by KMScott here. I don't believe he's doing any Columbian vise jaws right now, but there's always a chance a jaw from another model might fit.

You could also contact Autopts here. He sells a lot of replacement jaws and has had some Columbian jaws in the past as I recall.

Are the bolt holes in yours centered from top to bottom, or offset?

I always recommend just replacing with dimensional aluminum, finishing a Wilton Tradesman for myself this way right now. Seems I tend to need soft jaws more often than not so it works better for me. 6016 from Mcmaster Carr by the stick has held up forever in an older Craftsman that I keep on the bench as my go to vise.

I might do that for a set of soft jaws but I really would like a set of the serrated steel.

And the screws are centered top to bottom. Not offset.

What's the model number, and have you tried looking at Searspartsdirect.com or eReplacementParts.com ?
If your model isn't listed, a similar newer model may have jaws that fit.

I don't have the model in front of me at the moment. I think it is a B45 or something. I thought I was going to be able to find them by size. I did look on the Sears site but didn't find a lot for 5-1/2".
