I bought a box lot at an auction and these were inside and I'm not having much identifying them. On one side it looks like 3-F with a trademark symbol ( R inside a circle). On the other side it looks like the letters AD to me. I believe they might have something to do with hydraulics, but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They look like end fittings for wire rope (steel cable). Push the end of the cable through the threaded nut part, insert the wedge in the end of the cable, and tighten the nut into the loop end. The wedge flares the ends of the strands and clamps them inside the fitting.

Bingo! Very similar to ones I've used for terminating the support cable for aerial communication cables.

The wealth of knowledge on this site never ceases to amaze me. I would have never guessed wire rope/cable terminals. Greatly appreciate all the replies.
