I think its a cotter pin puller or a general pick at leat thats what i use my craftsman for. If that tag says $1.00 and the tool says snap on i think you did fine.

Officially it is a radiator hose pick, but that tool there is one of the most useful tools ever invented. It does everything from unplug electrical connectors to scratching your back.

I've used those to pull cotter pins in the Air Force for years. And $1 is a horrible price. I'll give you $0.50 plus shipping.

its also very adapt at destroying finger tips and making them sore for a week

Very recently got one of these, and everyone is right. This tool would have saved years of my life if I had one 15 years ago.
