I'm not entirely sure what section this post should go into, and if it is in the wrong section I apologize. Anyway....

I have been working on a recent project and i came across these little doohickeys that seem to work incredibly well for what i need. Now the question is what the hell are they? They are almost like drywall anchors but they don't have a split seam to bite in behind the drywall.:headscrat Any ideas? I am looking to get some more of them.

I agree with the masonry call. My shop is made of cement block and I use them to hang receptacle boxes on the wall. Pre drill a hole with a masonry bit and then tap them into the hole, then just use drywall screws.
