So my father-in-law passed away a few years ago and I’m in the process of cleaning out his garage. He wasn’t much of a tool guy but he did have some older Craftsman hand tools as well as this old saw.

I have the model number and the type... but I don’t know much else about it. I know it’s been buried in a corner of an I heated garage, unused, for at least 20 years. Type is CYBK10 and model is (I think) 115.17106

Any ideas what it’s worth? Better yet... does anyone want to give it a home? It looks complete but I haven’t had the guts to clean it and test it.

Any thoughts? It’s located in NW Indiana.

List it at $100 and the first person to make a close offer takes it home. Most likely $75 or $80.

Side note: That miter gauge is from an older model and possibly worth more to a collector as they are slightly rarer.

I paid $25 for a similar Craftsman saw, might be the same model. But mine didn't have a usable stand, no miter gauge and no fence. And I got it first thing at a garage sale and grabbed it without much consideration. I would ask $100 to start for yours as suggested above..
If the table extensions are around somewhere they will make it worth more to me.
I just looked for this saw on the Vintagemachinery.org site and strangely didn't find any Craftsman tools with the 115 prefix to the model number.

Thanks everyone.

I'll mill it around.... if anyone in the NW Indiana area sees this and is interested it'll go really cheap. I'd just like it to go to a good home.

The model # 115.17106 is for the motor, 115 being for Packard Electric. The saw model number would probably start with 113 or 103, the saw is most likely 1950's. Too bad you are too far away from me, they are great little saws, my Dad had one.

Without the extension wings I think $100 is pushing it.
That stand is kind of cool though...
I would start at $75.

Wish I was close - I'd love to clean up something like that.

Would seriously love to see it go to someone on here who would show it some love. Havent gotten back there to look for extensions or anything else. There is a pretty big shed too but I'm not expecting to find much. This is probably the oldest thing he had.

Motor is worth $50.

Sometimes you can pick the whole thing up for $50.

I've got one with the wings and the classic C'man stand. Don't remember what I paid but not as much as a hundred.

Come on guys.....somebody near him take it off his hands!

Or OP............Why not keep it?

I have a small garage and already have 3 scroll saws, a band saw, a table saw, 2 belt sanders and a drill press...
