I found this old Blue Point wrench at a garage sale but have no idea what its purpose was so I figured I'd bring it to the site with most knowledgeable tool folks out there :)

Possibly a bleeder wrench. It looks very similar to a B-1351-A which is a bleeder wrench.

t4runner, thanks for the quick reply! It is a B-1351, was it designed for a specific brand, or was this some standard size for bleeder valves back in the day?

I think this is the later Snap on wrench. The blue point one posted was a more specialized tool with the 3rd cut out. :dunno: See the pic I attached above.

it is a brake adj open end wrench...and there was another one on GJ in 09 with the same question. I just goolged it and found it on the old snap tool site...

Those are special purpose brake wrenches. If I recall used to adjust the excentrics on early drum brakes. Maybe the 30's into the 40's.

Don't quote me, its been a long while since I sent mine out to a collector.
