I found this at the sale when I bought the bench grinder and Fluke meter. The seller had no idea and neither do I or may neighbor. It's a spring return cam operated whatever. I bought it for a buck just because it was so unusual.

That is a valve spring removal tool by KD. I have one too somewhere. It was used with a spark plug air adapter to change valve stem seals without removing the head. Worked great back 30-40 years ago when I was doing it full time and stem seals were not nearly as good rubber as they are now.

It’s a valve spring compressor for removing the springs with the head still on the car, kinda pain in the *** to use.
