So I picked both of these up over the weekend. first one is a Whatzt?
Parallel jaw Pliers, NO makers marks at all EXCEPT on the plate with the two holes. there is a stylized Bee, (insect) with a "B" (Letter) on it's abdomen. (sorry for the poor pic, I tried by my dinky camera isn't up to it...)
I've seen that symbol somewhere, but can't remember... This has a "leather working" feel to it.
The design is classic Scholhorn/Bernard/Sargent, and they may have made the core pliers, but that plate ahd to be added by another company for something special but what?
I'm leaning to snaps buttons installation, but that doesn't seem to be quite it...
The History question is for this wrench: "SHAW" in an oval; the only references I get are mostly for alligator wrenches that appear to be from a "Shaw" Propeller (Boat?) company.
Some Pics in Google fu; nothing historical for the company (Not even in AA) and Eprey has no wrenches of this style.
Anyone know of this Shaw Co.?
