These were in a drawer of misc stuff I got... They are fiber with a metal core as you can see in the pics. Writing on the side saws "RAWL 10"...

I googled RAWL and came up with a company that makes wedge anchors. I looked at tons of pics but couldn't find anything like these...

I'm guessing they are pre-plastic anchors? Or maybe something you would crimp wire with like a barrel connector?

From what I just read, the putty based rawlplugs used asbestos.
Those fiber based ones use jute.
