that could be, if the mount doesn't lock like a vise but actually spins, the arm can be locked at a length and angle to use a cutting torch to cut a circle maybe?

yeah, missed that initially but the other piece is stamped T-301, the casting has T300A cast into it.

gonna google those part nos. with belsaw and see what I find...
