Another Wilton C2 restoration (and re-restoration)

I picked up a pretty nice Wilton C2 about two years ago. Found it locally for $175, so I bought it immediately.

Here's how it looked when I brought it home:

It was in really good shape, and I seriously considered just cleaning and lubing it and putting it to work, but I really just couldn't do it.

I wanted to use the green hammered paint, but I couldn't find it anywhere locally. I ended up finding the blue hammered paint in a regular can (couldn't find a spray can anywhere).

Here's how it looked after three coats of the blue:

Honestly, I know it is pretty close to one of the original Wilton colors, but I never much cared for it.

I got a bit ambitious after seeing the 75th anniversary 1755 tradesman in black, so I decided to redo the vise in hammered black:

Less authentic, I suppose, but I really like the look.

Looks good. The original condition and your first iteration looks like my C1.
