Another Wilton refresh

I swear I posted up about this one a while back but a search here reveals nothing. Finally making some progress so I thought I would drop back in and see if anyone could help me out in locating a swivel base and hardware that doesn’t break the bank.

This one had a chunk broke off so I took it to my favorite welder /fab guy over in Houston one day to have him weld it and some other things up for me. Always heard the horror stories of welding cast, but he had it done in under ten minutes. Ground the spot, fitted in a small piece of tool steel and tigged it with a particular grade stainless rod. No preheating or black magic voodoo required. I cleaned it up with a grinder and sander before blasting and treating it to some Rustoleum hammered light blue.
