Hey guys, so after making a previous workbench for my harbor freight tool cabinets. I really just wanted to make another one but different in it own way. So to save some money instead of buying 4x4's I glued 2x4s together. I wanted it to be more heavy duty than my last workbench.
I got this...I used the same concept with using bolts.

I got the idea of making some levels after seeing the guys who did the hockey puck one. So I used some scrap metal from welding school and and tacked on some bolts. I just need to trim the bolt down shorter and they will be mounted when I have time to drill through the legs. But in all I made 6 of these and sprayed it with the rattle can

I said to myself why not make a few shelves since the plastic ones I had weren't doing me any justice. I made this one that was like 6ftx4ft x1ftish. Then I made another that was 6ftx2ftx2ft for my so called battery bank.

I was going to buy another harbor freight tool cabinet until homedepot had a sale on their husky cabinet for $298 and it came with a top and bottom.

I decided to organize my cabinets and add thick kitchen liner. I spent about $100 on a lot of rolls. The thicker ones are better and when I put the wrenches in place you really have to shake the drawers to get them out of place.

here is the bottom cabinet

I also added my socket and organized those using particle board and 1 1/2 wood screws. Dowels would have been nice but it already took long enough just to get these organized so drilling holes was not an option for the time being.

I tried the first step of organizing my cabinets using precise cut particle board to fit in the cabinets and using screws to organize all my sockets and ratchets:rocker:

Nice work, looks simple and solid.

Good luck with the J32 swap, is it a full Type-S motor? What trans are you going with? The 6-speed CL Type-S trans are not cheap or easy to find...
